2011 SAF Children’s Diwali Show Song Submission Rules and Process
Song Submission will be accepted as of Sunday, September 11th @ 8pm and no later than Saturday, October 15th, 2011.
Any submissions before 8 pm on Sunday, September 11th will not be accepted.
Any submissions to any other e-mail address or to any of the board members directly will not be accepted.
Songs will be granted based on the order/time of the submission.
Following rules are mandatory for all performances:
· Minimum of 4 participants in a group
· Maximum duration of performance should be 4 minutes (the music will be stopped if it is over 4 mins)
· There should be at least 3 songs in a Medley
A Song will be allowed only twice in the entire show:
- 1 Group who chooses to do the Full Song and/or 1 group in a Medley
OR
- 2 Groups can choose to do it in a Medley
· Participants may only perform in ONE dance. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule.
· All participants must be paid members by the day of the dress rehearsal. The date of dress rehearsal will be announced at a later time.
All song reservations must include Perforamance/Group Name, All Participants’ names and ages and choreographer information, or the request will be denied for incomplete information.
